One night as Diana rose to her throne
She was struck on her side by a flying stone
Released from the blow was a smaller part
A piece of the Goddess' Heart
Daughter is what she called this star
Artemis is her name
And for years upon years by her mother's side
She silently lay
Aeons passed til one night
She saw a star flying by
For the first time she felt alone
In her vastly great home
So young Artemis gathered her thoughts
And bid her Mother goodbye
Spun herself thrice round
And fell to Earth as ice
As I was walking I chanced upon a fallen star
Kissed her frozen lips, traced her earth-born scar
On that night the Goddess blessed me
Artemis was now mine to keep
